INFORMATION FOR NANNIES

When you choose a quality agency, you have someone working on your behalf. We screen the families, gather all the pertinent information via their application and interview, and check the references of the family. We also act as a support if you have questions or concerns at any point during the process or placement.

We are committed to finding you the position and family that best matches your employment preferences. We carefully screen and personally interview each family, and we require families to provide references and a detailed job description outlining their specific needs.

We understand that a successful placement is the result of a healthy nanny/family relationship. To nurture this relationship, Big Sky Nanny Network facilitates an Employment Agreement between you and the family. This agreement covers all aspects of the position and defines expectations right from the beginning, thus helping to eliminate misunderstandings and helping create lasting placements.

We go the extra mile, in both our family screening process, and the subsequent placement process. All nanny/family matching is done with careful consideration of your strengths and employment preferences and the family's job description and requirements. We also consider the personal information provided by you and the family to help ensure compatibility.

Nannies find that we provide EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. We promptly return calls and will quickly respond to any questions and/or concerns you might have.

NANNY APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Go to the 'On-line Nanny Application' link and complete the application in order to mail it back to us. We only have the application in PDF form because of the amount of information that is required from you that it is best to be returned to us via mail. Once we receive your application we will call you.

Don't forget to send us your short essay and recent photos of yourself! Include two written letters of recommendation - preferably child care references. We prefer that you e-mail the photo and fax or e-mail the essay and reference letters. However, if you are unable to do this - just pop them in the mail. We also need copies of Infant & Child CPR and First Aid certifications. If you are not currently certified, please go ahead and return your applicaiton. You can get certified through your local Red Cross, Fire Department, or Hospital.

If you would rather receive the application packet by mail or e-mail, please call or e-mail us so we can send it out. Complete and return the entire nanny application. If you are waiting on your reference letters, you can send in your application first, and then forward your letters as you receive them.

For quickest placement, it is very important that you complete and return the entire application packet. If we are missing information it will delay the process. Once we have reviewed your application we will schedule either a personal or telephone interview.

PLACEMENT PROCEDURE FOR NANNIES

Most placements require 2-8 weeks, although immediate placements do occur. We will contact you prior to sending your file to interested families. It is then up to the family to contact you for further interviewing. Once a family has made a decision to proceed, it is their responsibility to hire you. Upon accepting a position, we ask that you immediately contact Big Sky Nanny Network so that we may update your file and begin working on your relocation packet.
