INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES

We can save you a great deal of time, and quickly provide you with a choice of qualified, pre-screened applicants. The job of finding good nannies is very labor intensive. Using a nanny agency relieves you of the most time-intensive parts of the process -- recruitment, screening, taking an application, initial interviewing, calling references, and researching and ordering background checks. Most busy parents simply don't have the time for several hours of paperwork (per candidate) to find an applicant who might meet their needs. When you use Big Sky Nanny Network, we do all of that for you -- and more.

Our Comprehensive Screening Process for Nannies Includes:

an in-depth application and personal interview

employment references checks

two written recommendations

criminal background checks

Department of Motor Vehicle check

credit history check

personal statement of health

Infant and Child CPR and First Aid certifications

We are committed to helping you find the nanny that best matches your needs and requirements.

We understand that a successful placement is the result of a healthy family/nanny relationship. To nurture this relationship, Big Sky Nanny Network facilitates an Employment Agreement between you and the nanny. This agreement covers all aspects of the nanny position and defines expectations right from the beginning, thus helping to eliminate misunderstandings and helping create lasting placements.

We go the extra mile, in both our nanny screening process, and the subsequent placement process. All family and nanny matching is done with careful consideration of your job description/requirements and the nanny's strengths and employment preferences. We also consider the personal information provided by you and the nanny to help ensure compatibility.

Families find that we provide EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. We promptly return calls and will quickly respond to any questions and/or concerns you might have.

Application Procedure

Family application packets are available via fax, e-mail or mail.

To get started just complete and return the entire family application packet (including the Family Application, Legal and Financial Agreement, and Credit Card Consent form), along with the $200.00 application fee, to Big Sky Nanny Network.

Once we have reviewed your application we will schedule a telephone interview to learn more about your family.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Placement Procedure

Our placement fees are listed below. Keep in mind the $200.00 Application Fee is subtracted out of this fee for a total service payment of:

20 hour work week or less- $595.00

30 hour a work week or less- $795.00

40 hour a work week more/less- $1095.00

We charge a $50.00 fee for finding a temporary nanny (to work for a week or less).

Most placements require 2-8 weeks, although immediate placements do occur. After reviewing your application and completing the family interview, we will send comprehensive files of pre-screened candidates for your inspection. Contact the candidates that interest you for further interviewing. Please do this as soon as you get their file, as they may be referred to more than one family. When you make an offer and the candidate accepts, you must return the signed Employment Agreement and the placement fee to Big Sky Nanny Network. The Employment Agreement, signed by you, must be received prior to the arrival date of your nanny to ensure your Replacement Guarantee.
